Jean’s Focus Is On YOU.

Your commissioners are elected to ensure that the county’s mandated human services are delivered in a quality, cost – effective manner.  They are also charged with overseeing the county’s quarter of a billion dollar budget of which approximately $54 million comes from our real estate taxes.  Some of the remainder is drawn from state and federal grants. These grants are also your tax money, but it takes an effort to get that money returned to Cumberland County. Federal and state grants fund approximately 89% of our human services. 

Your money is just as important to me as my own.  I do my best to work diligently to develop budgets and spending plans that serve you.
